1. About cookies
Cookies are short data files placed on the user's computer by the website visited. The purpose of the cookie is to make the given infocommunication or internet service easier and more convenient. There are several types, but they generally fall into two broad categories. One is the temporary cookie, which is placed on the user's device by the website only during a particular session, and the other is the persistent cookie, which remains on the computer until the user deletes it. According to the European Commission's guidelines, cookies (unless they are strictly necessary for the use of the service) can only be placed on the user's device with the user's permission.
Visitors to the website must be informed of the use of cookies. By means of this notice, the Data Controller ensures that the visitor can be informed, before and at any time during the use of the information society services of the website, of the types of data processed by the Data Controller for which purposes, including the processing of data that cannot be directly linked to the user.
In the case of cookies that do not require the consent of the user, information shall be provided during the first visit to the website. It is not necessary for the full text of the cookie notice to appear on the website, but it is sufficient for website operators to briefly summarise the substance of the notice and provide a link to the full notice.
In the case of cookies requiring consent, the information may also be linked to the first visit to the website, if the processing of data associated with the use of cookies starts as soon as the page is visited. Where the use of the cookie is linked to the use of a function explicitly requested by the user, the information may also be linked to the use of that function. In this case, it is not necessary for the full text of the cookie notice to appear on the website, but a brief summary of the substance of the notice and a link to the full notice.
2. Cookies used
The Data Controller informs its users that it uses Google Analytics and remarketing, Google Ads, and Facebook Pixel applications to measure the traffic to its website and sub-sites and to monitor the behaviour of its visitors, to generate statistics and to improve the effectiveness of its advertising.
These programs place cookies on the user's computer which collect user data. Users visiting the website authorise the Controller to use Google Analytics and remarketing, Google Ads, and Facebook Pixel applications. They also consent to the monitoring and tracking of their user behaviour and to the use of all services provided by the programs to the Data Controller. In addition to this, the user has the possibility to opt-out of future cookie recording and storage at any time, as described below.
We inform our users that the settings and use of Google Analytics and remarketing, Google Ads, and Facebook Pixel applications are in full compliance with the requirements of the Data Protection Authority. According to Google, Google Analytics mainly uses first-party cookies to report visitor interactions on your website. These cookies only record non-personally identifiable information. Browsers do not share their own cookies between domains.

2.1 Google Analytics
The Data Controller uses Google Analytics primarily to generate statistics, including to measure the effectiveness of its advertising campaigns. By using the program, the Data Controller mainly obtains information on the number of visitors to its website and the time spent on the site. The program recognises the IP address of the visitor and can therefore track whether the visitor is a returning or new visitor, and can also track the path the visitor has taken on the website and where they have accessed.
3. Disabling cookies
If you wish to manage or disable your cookie settings, you can do so from your browser on your own user computer. This option is usually found under Tools > Settings > Privacy, depending on the browser toolbar.
Users who do not want Google Analytics to report on their visit can install the browser extension to disable Google Analytics.
